Ductless air conditioning

No ductwork? No problem.

Ductless air conditioner.

Until just a few years ago, the only way to cool a structure lacking ductwork was with unsightly, noisy window air conditioners. But today simple, ductless air conditioning options make it possible to install a quiet, efficient air-conditioning system in your home or business even if it doesn't have ductwork.

Ductless air-conditioning systems consist of one or more quiet compact indoor air-distribution units linked by refrigeration lines to an efficient outdoor compressor. You can mount the distribution units on a wall or ceiling. A small hole (less than three inches in diameter) links the distribution unit to the compressor. A ductless system all but eliminates costly remodeling and the security risk of window units.

These systems are easy to install and are designed to cool the main living area in a home or office. Installing ductless air conditioning costs a little more than standard central air-conditioning systems but much less than the cost of installing ductwork and a central air-conditioner.

The bottom line? You don't have to tear apart your home installing ductwork or put up with window units to get through those hot days. Just install a ductless air conditioner.
