Successful applicant will supervise, direct and work with the crew to erect and install, maintain or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations; where necessary, frame and erect poles and attach necessary fixtures and equipment; string, sag and splice conductors (wires) and connect transformer and other equipment; trim trees, replace such equipment as broken insulators, split crossarms, cutouts, ties, faulty clamps or braces; and perform similar replacement or repair work as necessary on routine patrol or to clear up storm damage. Use electrical instruments, operate hydraulic equipment, and work out of an aerial basket.

The Project Engineer provides operation, maintenance, and engineering support for all generator assets. Other duties include, research, and analyze emerging technologies in the generation field to support Resource Planning. Review, evaluate, report, and ensure compliance with new and existing regulatory requirements for generator assets. Find technical solutions for issues and concerns and justify, execute, and complete in a cost-effective manner. Manage engineering, equipment supply, and construction contracts. Interact with vendors and consultants related to equipment and systems. Evaluate and justify maintenance and performance projects.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil/structural systems associated with electrical generation is required. Must have the ability to learn environmental and safety regulations and policies; and accounting and purchasing practices. Requires thorough knowledge of good engineering practice and fundamentals.
