Fixed Time of Delivery

Take advantage of one of our lowest energy rates

Looking to save money? The Fixed Time of Delivery Rate is one of our lowest priced rates.

How does a Fixed Time of Delivery system work?

With the Fixed Time of Delivery Rate electricity is delivered for 8 hours a day, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. It's designed to work with thermal-storage systems that store energy for heating or cooling.

If you don’t currently have a thermal-storage system and are planning to install one, you may qualify for a $50 per kilowatt rebate for up to 500 kilowatts of thermal-storage heating or cooling technologies installed.

Rate eligibility and details

This is for permanently connected deferred loads with self-contained (typical) metering, primarily thermal-storage space heating or cooling, and other approved loads. Energy is delivered between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. All other hours of electric service are unauthorized and subject to penalty period kilowatt-hour charges. Penalty rates are not intended as buy-through options.

During a rate review an interim rate adjustment may apply to the charges below.
