Matt Olsen

Vice President, Regulatory

Matt Olsen was named Vice President, Regulatory, in December 2025.

Olsen began his career at Otter Tail Power as a Senior Compliance Specialist in 2010. He was promoted to Manager, Regulatory Proceedings and Compliance, in 2014 and Manager, Regulatory Strategy and Compliance, in 2021.

Olsen earned his Bachelor of Arts in political studies from Dordt University, Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 2010.

Outside of work Olsen is a board member at Health Resources Center and at his church. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and running. He and his wife Jasey live in Fergus Falls with their two children.
