Renewable energy

The latest in our wind and solar programs.

An investment in renewable energy

By 2025, our goal is to count 50% of our owned and contracted energy as renewable. It is why we’re consistently investing in renewable energy resources.

In addition, carbon emissions from our owned generation resources are targeted to be 50% lower than 2005 levels by 2025—and 97% lower by 2050. It’s no wonder solar and wind are playing such a big part in not just keeping emissions low, but residential rates as well.

What’s more, as the cost of renewable energy decreases—and efficiency increases—you’ll continue to pay less for the energy to power your home and business than you would almost anywhere else in the nation.

A diverse mix of energy resources is more than just a technological advance—it’s also an effective way to help us maintain affordable, reliable service.
