Nearly half the electricity consumed in the manufacturing sector is used for powering motors that drive fans, pumps, conveyors, and compressors. While exhaust and many HVAC system fans move air out and through buildings or plants, they could be costing you more money than you think. 

Consider upgrading to electronically commutated motors (ECMs). You'll start seeing savings right after installation. That's because ECMs use built-in inverters and are controlled electronically, offering higher efficiency across a wide range of operating speeds.

Eligibility and details

Rebates are available for commercial customers that retrofit existing exhaust and HVAC fans with energy-efficient ECMs. Rebates are based on motor horsepower.
