Fixed Time of Delivery Rate

Set your energy delivery to off-peak hours to store heating and cooling power.

Take advantage of one of our lowest energy rates!

Our Fixed Time of Delivery Rate is about half the price of our standard energy rate. And it’s available for those who use, or are planning to use, thermal-storage systems.

In addition to being the lowest-priced rate we offer, you can qualify for up to $75-per-kilowatt in rebates on your newly installed system!

Our Fixed Time of Delivery Rate provides electricity during low-demand overnight hours to charge your heating or cooling system. Electricity is delivered for 8 hours a day from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Your thermal-storage system stores energy for heating or cooling—so if you're planning to install one, you may qualify for rebates.

Eligibility and details

Our Fixed Time of Delivery Rate is available for permanently connected, thermal-storage systems and other approved equipment, including Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations. It includes options for self-contained (typical) metering, current transformer (CT) metering, or primary CT metering systems.

Systems must be designed with adequate storage capacity to heat or cool on this schedule of energy delivery. This means you'll want to work with your contractor to properly size your system.

Energy is delivered from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. All other hours of service are unauthorized and subject to penalty. Consistent use outside of these hours will result in the rate being discontinued.
