Operations Supervisor

Location

Big Stone Plant near Milbank, South Dakota

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision of the operations department at Big Stone Plant. Responsible for the proper operation of all station equipment and proper training and scheduling of all operating personnel for round-the-clock coverage. Review operational data, monitor and trend plant performance parameters. Plan and direct projects. Establish plant operating philosophy, practices and procedures. Oversee station environmental controls and execution of associated permits. Assist in development of O&M budget. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A minimum of ten years of experience in coal-fired power plants is required. Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.  Comprehensive knowledge of all station systems and equipment including boiler, turbine, air quality controls, and auxiliaries is required. Requires knowledge of plant operation, union bargaining agreement, environmental and safety regulations, company and station policies, purchasing and budgeting. Must have good communication skills; demonstrated ability to work well with people and administer projects; and good leadership ability.  Proficiency with computer skills is required.

Customer Service Representative

Location

Milbank, South Dakota

Responsibilities

Provide complete, accurate, and timely customer service and marketing service to all external and internal telephone and web customers. This position has the overall accountability to assist in the efforts to achieve customer service and company key performance indicators, including OSHA rate, revenue growth, increased margin, customer satisfaction and O&M expense per customer.

Qualifications

Requires excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer software. Experience in customer service, accounting, and marketing would be beneficial.
