This schedule is applicable to both single- and three-phase non-residential customers with demands below 20 kilowatts (kW) and to residential customers with three-phase service only with demands below 20 kW. This schedule isn't applicable for dusk to dawn outdoor lighting.

This schedule is applicable to three-phase residential customers, and both single- and three-phase non-residential customers, with a measured demand of at least 20 kilowatts (kW) during the most recent 12 months. This schedule isn't applicable for dusk to dawn outdoor lighting.

Low load factor demand charges only apply to customers that have both a metered demand of 200 kW or greater and a monthly load factor of 15% or less.

This schedule is applicable to non-residential customers with one meter providing electrical service with a measured demand of at least 20 kilowatts within the most recent 12 months. This rate has three time-of-use price periods that vary by state and season. Billing demand is based on the highest demand registered over any one hour during the month.

This rate schedule is applicable for monthly billing to non-residential customers with measured demand of at least 80 kilowatts within the most recent 12 months. This rate has three time-of-day price periods that vary by state and season.

This rate schedule is designed to enable our company to respond to potential customers by providing rate quotes and final rates based on a rate formula reviewed by Commission staff.

Application: This rate schedule is applicable to greenfield customers who reasonably demonstrate:

(1) An expected metered demand of at least 25 megawatts at a single metering point,
(2) An expected load factor of at least 80%, and
(3) An expected annual energy sales of at least 175,000 megawatt-hours over 12 consecutive billing months.

Customers will meet the above criteria to obtain and maintain service on this rate. Customers served on this rate who don't meet the above criteria will be moved to the most applicable rate schedule.

This schedule isn't applicable for energy for resale. Emergency and supplementary/standby service will be supplied only as allowed by law. 

We require a written electric service agreement (ESA) between our company and the customer. We'll file the customer’s executed ESA as a contract with deviations for Commission approval.

Rate determination: The rate specified in each customer's ESA shall be based upon and reflect either the marginal unit costs expected during the effective rate period or the marginal unit costs plus an appropriate margin determined on a case-by-case basis.

This rate is for permanently connected interruptible heating loads with alternate fuel backup systems served with self-contained (typical) metering. You also may include water heaters and/or other permanently connected approved loads on this rate when other interruptible load is in use. Heating loads may be controlled up to 24 hours a day and water heating loads may be controlled up to 14 hours a day. Rate 185 allows for air-source heat pump loads to be cycled 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off during summer control periods.

This tariff is for permanently connected interruptible heating loads with alternate fuel backup systems serviced by current transformer (CT) metering. You also may include water heaters on this rate when other qualified interruptible load is in use. Heating loads may be controlled up to 24 hours a day and water heating loads may be controlled up to 14 hours a day. This tariff does allow for short-duration cycling of qualified summer-season loads during control periods. To accommodate system controls, Option 2 permits up to 5% of off-peak-load use to remain in service during control periods. The penalty provision of this tariff isn't intended as a buy-through option.

This is for permanently connected deferred loads with primary current transformer (CT) metering served at primary voltage. Loads are thermal-storage space heating or cooling and other approved loads. Energy is delivered between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. All other hours of electric service are unauthorized and subject to penalty period kilowatt-hour charges. Penalty rates aren't intended as buy-through options.

During a rate review an interim rate adjustment may apply to the charges below.

This tariff is available to residential customers on our Residential Service, RDC, or Farm Service Rates; and to commercial customers on our Small General Service (less than 20 kilowatts) and General Service Rates. Participating eligible commercial customers may receive monthly bill credits for each ton of connected cooling load.

Central cooling equipment will be cycled on a 15-minute on/15-minute off schedule. Commercial customer dual stage air conditioners (or heat pumps) will be allowed to have the first stage run without interruption while the second stage will be shut off for the entire load management period.

Monthly bill credit may be prorated and applied June through September in Minnesota and South Dakota, and May through October in North Dakota. Air conditioning may be cycled a maximum of 300 hours during the cooling season.

This rate applies to water heaters that are metered separately and subject to controlled service. Water heaters may be controlled up to 14 hours a day.

Customers on base residential, farm, or general commercial tariffs may receive a bill credit each month when direct control to water heating is configured. Water heaters may be controlled up to 14 hours a day.
